In Beijing, daytime highs will reach a pleasant 27 degrees centigrade, and night-time lows will stay at a cool 19 degrees. Most of the day will be partly cloudy. However, take your umbrella as rain is expected in the afternoon.

In Sydney, we see sunny skies and temperatures reaching 31 degrees in the afternoon— that's high enough for a beach picnic. However, at night the temperatures will drop to 17 degrees centigrade, so don't put away your jumpers just yet.

Dubai will reach a hot 37 degrees centigrade today, without a cloud in sight, so try to stay indoors with the air conditioning and drink plenty of liquids. Fortunately, the nighttime temperature will fall to a pleasant 23 degrees, so you should wait until after the sun goes down to go out.

Berlin can expect snow this morning with a low of -1 degrees. Fortunately, temperatures will warm up slightly to 6 degrees by the end of the day, though it will be cloudy and wet. If you're a tourist, this is not a good day to be travelling to Berlin!

Here in London we have typical weather for this time of the year, with clouds and rain the whole day, and highs around 11 degrees and lows of around 8 degrees. Overall, this is an excellent day to stay home with a hot cup of tea and a good book.
