A survey about friendship
page 8
2 Li Na is doing a survey on friendship. Listen and answer the questions.
Li Na: Hello. I'm a reporter from the school newspaper. My name is Li Na. I'm doing a survey on friendship. Would you mind answering some questions?
Students: No, not at all.
Li Na: May I have your name, please?
Wu Di: You can just call me Wu Di.
Li Na: Great! Wu Di, here's my question: what makes a good friend? Or in other words, what kind of friends would you like to have?
Wu Di: I'd like to have honest friends. They never lie, and I can trust them. When I'm with them, I can tell them how I feel.
Li Na: So you mean, a good friend is honest. How about you? What's your name?
Su Mei: My name is Su Mei. I think good friends are caring. When I feel sad or blue, they cheer me up. Good friends are always there for me.
Li Na: I see. A good friend is honest and caring. How wonderful! Thanks for sharing.
Students: You're welcome.
