NOUNS
A noun is a person, place, or thing.
Examples:
A teacher is a person.
Miami is a place.
A sweater is a thing.
Teacher, Miami, and sweater are nouns.

ADJECTIVES
An adjective describes a noun.
Examples:
He's a good teacher.
Miami is a large city.
I'm wearing a blue sweater.
Good, large, and blue are adjectives.

ADJECTIVES BEFORE NOUNS
Adjectives come before nouns.
Correct: It's a blue sweater.
NOT correct: It's a sweater blue.
Correct: It's a large city.
NOT correct: It's a city large.

More than one adjective can come before a noun.
Example: I have a small green sweater.
Small is an adjective.
Green is an adjective.
Size adjectives come before color adjectives.
Correct: It's a small green sweater.
