Ms. Marquez: Next week is our last week of class. To celebrate your success I think we should do something
special. I suggest we have a picnic in the park.
Lin: I love picnics.
Santiago: What day?
Ms. Marquez: How about Saturday of next week?
Celia: We can bring food and drinks.
Ying Le: And play games.
Ms. Marquez: Those are wonderful suggestions. We can meet at the school and take the bus to the park.

Ying Le: My class is having a picnic this Saturday. Maybe you can come?
Samantha: Sounds great!

Celia: Thank you for the flowers, Danny.
Danny: My pleasure. Celia, would you like to go out on Saturday?
Jagraj: She can't go on Saturday. She has a picnic.
Danny: The picnic is on Saturday?
Celia: Yes, but you can come.
Danny: Okay.

What fun! The class is having a picnic in the park to celebrate the end of the English course. They are bringing
friends, food, and drinks.

Samantha: Ying Le, I want to show you the pictures from the park. Ryan, come on. Join us.
Ryan: Okay. I'll be right there.
Samantha: This first photo is of Ryan. He's playing tennis. But, I like this one better.
Ryan: What am I doing?
Samantha: You're teaching me how to play tennis.
Ryan: Oh, yeah. I remember that.
Samantha: And in this one I'm playing tennis really well.
Ryan: Well, I'm a good teacher.
Samantha: And here's Ryan skateboarding.
Ryan: And this is Samantha. She's sitting in the sun. Oh, now this is a great picture.
Samantha: We're eating our picnic lunch.
Ryan: Oh, no don't show that one.
Samantha: Oh, come on. It's a great picture.
Ying Le: What's wrong, Ryan?
Samantha: Oh, he's dancing. Ryan is a great dancer.
Ryan: And here's another picture.
Ying Le: Oh, Samantha, what are you doing?
Samantha: I'm singing.
Ryan: She's singing a love song to me.
Samantha: Well, those are all of the pictures.
