Recently our class had a heated discussion on whether the sea is worth exploring. Students hold different ideas about it. 
30% of us think sea exploration is not worthwhile,holding the opinion that it will pollute the sea. Some people hunt marine animals without mercy, causing them to die out.
However, 70% of us think the sea is worth exploring, which is beneficial to human beings. To better understand our planet, we must explore the sea. Moreover, the sea is abundant in a variety of resources, which enables us to solve the problem of energy shortages.
As far as I am concerned, it's worthwhile to explore the sea for the benefit of future generations. Meanwhile, we should exploit the sea properly.

Dear Editor, 
I'm Li Ming, a student from Class 3, Grade 2. The past ten years have witnessed that some creatures under the sea have died out, which has been greatly concerned by the whole world. 
First, people should be aware of the importance of protecting the ocean. As a matter of fact, to protect the ocean is to protect human beings. Second, it is urgent that the government should take immediate measures to protect the marine ecosystems. Finally, I'm sure that only by raising the awareness of protecting the marine ecosystems and making great efforts can we solve the problem.
